Spring 2026
We booked a full day trip with Captain Steve and had an unforgettable experience from the moment we stepped onto the boat. Steve was professional, welcoming and hyper focused on safety. He put us right on the fish within the first 20 minutes and his knowledge of the local waters made all the difference..The boat was clean, well maintained and equipped with high end rods, tackle and electronics. Can't Wait for Spring 2027 -Keys
2027! I don’t want to wish time away but can’t wait till April. Tarpon fishing with captain Steve is awesome. There are so many bucket list fish available. We’ve caught permit, dolphin, barracuda, grouper, sharks, yellowtail…. It goes on! Great hospitality, took the time to see giant sea turtles, dolphins, bird life. Great way to experience a different side of the keys. Wife is coming this year. Tired of hearing me rave.

I’ve fished with Steve several times, both around Bonita Springs and down in the Keys for tarpon, and he never disappoints. He consistently puts us on trophy fish and makes every trip a great experience. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable captain who knows how to find the fish, I highly recommend Steve!
Spring 2025 - SFL
Captain Steve knows how to chase tarpon. In just one afternoon I hooked three tarpon. 7-footer and two six footers. The jumping and the fighting of the rod was incredible. I recommend him for any trip but make sure you get him during tarpon season.
May 2023 - Bahia Honda State Park/Florida Keys
I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate Capt. Steve. I booked with him for a “bucket list” trip to catch a tarpon with no prior experience with these amazing fish. We met in the AM to start the trip, he had clearly been there well before the 5am start time to have everything ready. Great boat, everything ship shape and well cared for. And I should add that all tackle was high quality all well organized. When we started fishing, Steve was very good at explaining the process of fishing for and landing the tarpon (no small feat, trust me). From hook up to getting the fish to the boat, Steve was very patient and very good at giving pointers to a rookie. I had a great fishing experience and definitely enjoyed spending time with Steve. And I should add that the catch (quantity and size of fish) exceeded my expectations. Steve clearly knows how to fish for tarpon.
